NYC Study Trip

We visited some of the most inspiring brands, companies, and cultural institutions in the industry, all thanks to Buffalo State FTT alumni who now work there and opened their doors to us. 👜 At Coach, we toured their headquarters and learned about brand heritage and design processes.
👕 At S2 Sportswear, we gained valuable insight on licensing and design specifications.
👠 At Valentino, we experienced the world of luxury fashion through a hands-on styling challenge that pushed our creativity and gave us a glimpse into how a major fashion house maintains its brand identity.
👖 We explored Madewell and J.Crew headquarters to see how they style and prepare for e-commerce shoots behind the scenes.
📢 We visited WPP Media, where we learned how fashion intersects with advertising and how our degrees can open doors to many different career paths.
👟 We wrapped up with Kith Women’s, where we got a closer look at how the brand blends streetwear with elevated retail experiences. We learned about their philanthropic initiatives, their focus on community, and how their visual merchandising creates a unique in-store atmosphere that truly tells their brand story.
🏛️ We also visited The Metropolitan Museum of Art, where we explored the Superfine exhibition: an inspiring reminder of how fashion, art, and history are deeply connected.
